Guiding Voices for Inclusive Impact: A Publication for Supporting Community Voice in Broader Impacts Development

• Goal: We will create a resource for PIs at the early stages of grant proposals to enhance understanding of potential partnerships with rural libraries and community-based organizations. This resource will focus on BI partnerships that support underrepresented individuals in STEM and individuals with disabilities. This resource will be the direct voice from a series of interviews of rural librarians and community-based organization’s staff to create a BI proposal and implementation support tool for PIs.

• Aspirations for Impact: This resource will provide foundational guidance for academic and research PIs at the early stages of grant preparation. This tool highlights and represents the voices of community partners to support building collaborative grant proposals and lasting partnerships focused on broadening participation with diverse communities.
