To help you improve your chances of submitting a successful proposal for ARIS Summit 2026, here are three quick tips:
- Read the proposal submissions instructions and ensure you’ve addressed all the questions. The proposal reviewers are looking to ensure proposals adhere to all submission requirements, including word counts, formats, etc. Remember to make sure your presentation(s) and materials are ADA compliant.
- Explicitly state the session format, audience, and outcome(s). In your proposal submission, be clear about the session format, intended attendee’s skill level, and the benefits they will gain from attending your session. By sharing your session format, we’ll know that it will be engaging to the online attendees. Will they be an early career professional, a grad student, or a senior higher education leader? Use the title and description to tell the audience what they will learn or be able to do immediately after your session.
- Answer the “so what” question. Explain what makes your content unique compared to the submissions. Highlight any original research, unique case studies, or counterintuitive approaches you tested. This proof of novelty and data-driven insight gives reviewers confidence that your session offers genuine, new value and isn’t a restatement of common knowledge.
