ARIS Announces Call for Next ORIC Cohort

Are you ready to elevate your institution’s Broader Impacts (BI) efforts?

We are excited to announce the call for applications to participate in the sixth cohort of the ARIS Program to Enhance Organizational Research Impact Capacity (ORIC). Applications are being accepted through February 28, 2025, with selection to be announced in March and training to begin in June 2-4, 2025. An information session will be held January 15.

The Program to Enhance Organizational Research Impact Capacity (ORIC) is a signature program of ARIS and is designed to help institutions build/expand their in-house expertise necessary to support effective, innovative Broader Impacts (BI) efforts. ORIC provides BI professionals and administrators with an opportunity to become part of a community of practice to learn, share and implement new strategies to support researchers in developing BI plans. ORIC helps institutions create action plans for scaling up infrastructure to support research that benefits society.

Institutions and organizations participating in this two-year program receive training, resources and mentorship that will allow them to substantially enhance their internal capacity to support research impact. The program is cohort-based, consisting of 5-10 institutions.
