Let’s Talk: A Framework for Empowering Undergraduates to Advance Research Impacts

  • Goal: To conduct a systematic review of existing literature, NSF abstracts, and expert feedback from the ARIS community to establish an evidence-based framework for why undergraduates should engage in communicating research impacts, how to best engage undergraduates in this work, and how to evaluate student outcomes.
  • Aspirations for Impact: A guiding document will help scientists and other professionals engage undergraduates in communicating research impacts, which will allow for undergraduates to be direct beneficiaries of this work, with potential affective, skill building, and career awareness outcomes.
