The collaboration of spectrUM Discovery Area, a hands-on science center at the University of Montana and SciNation, an advisory group of educators and STEM advocates from tribal agencies, the tribal college, local Boys and Girls Club, and the University of Montana. Their collaboration seeks to build local capacity for SciNation’s mission of fostering a Native STEM workforce. Their work supports outreach events like Science Learning Tent, Science on Wheels, and Science Bytes. Their Kwul ‘I’tkin Maker Truck focuses on the bi-cultural partnership and co-design process through cultural making activities.
