Dr. Divya Sitaraman is an Associate Professor at California State University, East Bay. A neuroscientist, she studies how organisms interact with their environment, evaluate choices, and generate behavior. Her research focuses on small neural circuits with measurable outputs in genetically tractable systems.

Her work has been supported by the National Science Foundation, National Institutes of Health, and Howard Hughes Medical Institute.
