Roger Narayan

Dr. Roger J. Narayan is a Distinguished Professor in the Joint Department of Biomedical Engineering at the University of North Carolina and North Carolina State University. He is the author of over 300 publications and several book chapters on biomedical material processing. He participated in several activities to disseminate additive manufacturing technology, including the development of a workforce/education/outreach roadmap for additive manufacturing, and the development of a repository containing educational materials related to additive manufacturing.

Additionally, Dr. Narayan has organized Science Saturday events that bring together K–12 students, teachers, and university researchers to explore biomedical technologies through hands-on demonstrations and interactive activities.
