Centering Partnerships: Meeting In The Middle

The Center for Advancing Research Impact in Society (ARIS) Summit met literally in the middle of the United States in Omaha, Nebraska. After a pre-conference on April 2, 2024, the Summit program was April 3-5, 2024.
The Louis Stokes Regional Center of Excellence for the Study of STEM Interventions (SOSI Center) co-hosted the Summit with ARIS and offered three pre-conference workshops on April 2. The Summit program included fabulous keynote speakers, a facilitated plenary featuring program officers from the National Science Board – U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF) Merit Review Commission, plus the first ever ARIS Impact Slam.
The 2024 Awards Ceremony was held at the fascinating Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo following a private Zoo tour. We honored special BI Champions and ARIS Awardees.
