ARIS provides various professional development and training opportunities to help you and your institution build partnerships and enhance your broader impacts (BI) efforts at your institution.

ARIS Institutional Training

Could you benefit from bringing ARIS to your campus? If you want to reach a wider audience within your institution/organization that would benefit from introductory and/or advanced BI training, ARIS can provide customizable workshops ranging from short (1-2 hours) to multi-day events. We can provide these virtually or in person. We will work with you to set up professional development that fits your needs and scheduling requirements, and tailor our sessions to complement your institutional/organizational resources and requirements.

Enhance Your Institutional Capacity to Support BI

If you would like to move beyond one-time trainings and workshops, ARIS offers a two-year program to help your institution or organization enhance its own internal capacity to support BI work. The Program to Enhance Organizational Research Impact Capacity (ORIC) involves train-the-trainer activities, access to ARIS training resources, BI mentoring, and inclusion in a Broader Impacts Community of Practice.
